The legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed is set to return for the 22nd time on the 25th June 2015 and will mark the start of summer for petrolheads across the country. With over 100,000 motoring enthusiasts attending the event in West Sussex every year it’s one of the most popular car events in the country.

We’re in for a treat this year with Valentino Rossi named within the list of special guests and the new Ford GT, Focus RS, Mazda MX5, Bentley Continental GT and Ferrari 488 GTB all set to debut as new models amongst others. Here’s a summary of the main line up from some of the manufacturers attending;

The British luxury automaker Bentley are bringing the updated Continental GT to the party by challenging its more powerful 6.0 litre turbo engine on hillclimb with a whopping top speed of 197mph and 582bhp the petrolheads will love it.

Ferrari are going to treat us to not one but two models challenging the 1.6 mile hill climb which are its 488 GTB (turbocharged successor to the 458) and FXX K (£2.5million track monster with an F1 inspired powertrain) models.

The UK introduction of the Ford Focus RS and Ford GT supercar will be taking on the challenge with the hot hatch utilising its drift and the GT will be displaying the immense power produced by its 3.5 litre Ecoboost V6 engine.

The infamous Mazda MX-5 will be debuting its fourth generation of the two seater sports car which is lower, wider, shorter and lighter than its predecessor and will start at £18,495 when it hits the showrooms.

Mclaren have chosen the P1 GTR hypercar to display; priced at a whopping £1.9million the hybrid powerbeast will boast 978bhp from its 3.8litre twin turbo V8 motor.
