Battersea Park will be opening its doors to host the London Motor Show in 2016. Aptly announced by HRH Prince Michael of Kent; the patron of the motoring show at a reception is St James’ Palace the three day event is set to be held from the 5th to the 8th of May next year.
It’s been a long time since our capital hosted the iconic event and this London Motor Show will be the first in 8 years after the last one was held at the capitals ExCeL centre in the London Docklands back in 2008. The show will follow in the usual theme unveiling all the latest cars and concepts but with a twist! The 2016 London Motor Show will be much more broadly targeted than usual and will aim to be an event for all the family targeting the interest of children up to the fleet buyers with something there for everyone.
Ticket prices will start at an affordable £13 when they go on sale and the event will have a jam packed schedule including seminars from industry leading experts, discussions of major motoring issues including driverless cars and electric/hybrid technology and even test drives of some of the latest models to be set to hit our roads! A spokesman for the event stated that “this is exactly the right time to bring a high-profile motoring event back to London.”
It will be an event set to compete with all the other major motor shows such as Geneva, Tokyo and Detroit so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for all the latest news and information including ticket details, prices and all the cars expected to be on show.
